The main reason for the creation of this site is to keep things simple. It is easy for technology companies to take advantage of people due to the jargon and intimidating atmosphere. That isn't right and it's my goal to make it simple and affordable for people to get their business online and to get exposure.
I am Jacob Lower and I am the sole programmer of this site and the sites I design. I use the design and layout skills of several skilled graphic designers. I am a sophomore at Western Illinois University where I work as a graphic designer. I currently work at a web design studio in Moline, Illinois.
The host is the place where your website is stored on the internet. It is as simple as a storage shed for your website so people can come and see it.
This is simply the name of your site that people enter into the address bar to visit your site. For example www.google.com is the domain name for Google.
Websites are all made up of code used to design and structure the site. Validating Code is simply checking code to make sure all of the rules of that coding language are being followed. This is important because if you have code errors, sites can have problems loading, display incorrectly, or do poor on search engines.
